New Layout. I got so sick of the darkness of the old one, I decided for a brighter one. I also wanted a simpler one, so I decided not to make a header image, and use an interesting background instead.

I really need a job -_-

I’ve been job hunting for almost three months now, and still no luck. I, unfortunately, got dragged behind everyone else my age when it came to job hunting. Because my birthday wasn’t until July, I didn’t recieve my NI (national insurance) number until May, because it arrives three months before you’re sixteen. Without this number, it is virtually impossible to get a job.
So by the time I actually got my number, all of the jobs that were available had been taken by other people who had recieved the NI number months ago.

I am not fussed about how much the job pays (obviously as long as it’s not less than the minimum wage) but I just desperately need work. I’m not even bothered by the money (although, I do feel terrible that my mum pays me to do the housework, just so I can go out) but I have spent so much of this Summer sitting at home bored, whilst all my friends are working. It’s terrible.

Another reason I would like money is because recently I ordered lots of supplies to make jewellery (for friends and family, although I may consider selling some if people are interested) from Etsy (I’ll post pictures of the supplies and necklaces when it all arrives and I’ve made some) and now my bank balance is £1.24. One pound, twenty four pence. It’s like a joke. I guess it’d just be nice to have a constant income, so that I’m not scared to spend money without knowing when I’ll next earn some more.

On one of my boredom days I was spamming Tumblr and I came accross a photo of a rainbow cake, so I decided to make my own. I was feeling quite messy, so by the time the colours were layered up, they started to mix. I like the way it looks completely normal on the outside, but when you cut into it, it’s crazy. It tastes delicious too :)
